چکیده
Abstract The volumetric accuracy of machine tools is significantly impacted by thermal errors, making the evaluation a significant challenge for manufacturing industry. Several technical solutions have been implemented, both at industrial and research level, to address this issue. However, considering errors in error characterization adds complexity process remains an open topic field. In study, novel technique based on simulated Thermal Modal Analysis proposed three-axis tool. This approach involves analyzing impact modes tool's structural elements error, providing that incorporates physical meaning structure. will serve as foundation future experiments combine it with other techniques achieve comprehensive understanding errors.

ThermalSim: A Thermal Simulator for Error Analysis
Researchers have extensively explored predictive control strategies for controlling heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) units in commercial buildings. Predictive control strategies, however, critically rely on weather and occupancy forecasts. Existing state-of-the-art building simulators are incapable of analysing the in uence of prediction errors (in weather and occupancy) on HVA...
متن کاملVolumetric Error Analysis of a Stewart Platform Based Machine Tool
Striving for greater accuracy, some machine tool manufacturers are developing parallel structures for the next generation machine tool. Therefore, tools are needed to analyze the effect error sources have on this type of structure. A model of a Stewart Platform based machine tool is developed that provides the framework for inclusion of all relevant error sources. An error analysis is presented...
متن کاملModal Analysis of Spent Fuel Cask for WWER-1000 Reactors
The Spent Fuel Assemblies (SFAs) of WWER-1000 reactors are planned to be transported by special containers which are supposed to be designed in a manner to stand against vibrations and impacts in order to protect the spent fuel from any possible damage. The vibration opposition of these containers shall be far beyond the critical resonance, because the resonances about the natural frequency of ...
متن کاملInfluence of Temperature Change on Modal Analysis of Rotary Functionally Graded Nano-beam in Thermal Environment
The free vibration analysis of rotating functionally graded (FG) nano-beams under an in-plane thermal loading is provided for the first time in this paper. The formulation used is based on Euler-Bernoulli beam theory through Hamilton’s principle and the small scale effect has been formulated using the Eringen elasticity theory. Then, they are solved by a generalized differential quadrature meth...
متن کاملOperational modal analysis for the characterization of heritage structures
Assessing and reducing the seismic risks associated with historical structures require an appropriate knowledge of structural behaviour and characteristics, as suggested by recent national and international guidelines concerning cultural heritage. However, historical structures are characterised by a high level of uncertainty, which affects material properties and structural schemes and is rela...
